Over the past month or so, I’m sure some of you have clicked on links we’ve posted as we’ve been testing on social media and have visited this site. Now the time has come for me to explain.
Since August 2015, Jeremy Simon and the folks at BlueGoldSports.com have been gracious enough to host me and the rest of the WVUPros staff. During that time, I along with a new partner have developed a concept and website in which to house WVUPros going forward.
Today I officially welcome you to College2NFLPros.com!
We will continue to provide the same coverage of your favorite Mountaineers of the past (there is no such thing as a “former Mountaineer”) while providing you with up-to-the-minute links to other articles around the web that have caught our collective eyes concerning WVUPros.
When you’re done reading this note, head over to our NEW dedicated WVUPros page.
There you will also find a Twitter feed featuring WVUPros, all players currently on NFL rosters with links going to their dedicated pages where you can find the latest articles about them, their stats, and Twitter profile. You will also find links to other websites featuring WVU content and WVU writers.
We want College2NFLPros to be simple and quick loading. You won’t find a plethora of pop-up ads, videos that autoplay or slideshows when you enter our site. Personally, I hate those things, and I know from speaking to many of you that you do as well. I live by the “treating others as I would treat myself” motto. I know that’s how many sites make their money, but there’s other, less annoying ways of doing so.
At this point, you might be asking yourself: This website has “NFL” in its title, what about the basketball players? For the time being, we are going to narrow it down and focus on players in and around the NFL. College2NBAPros.com is set for future release.
If you have any news tips, questions, or websites you would like to see added to College2NFLPros, use the handy Submit News Tip box on the lower right of our home page.
So have a look around. Tell us what you think. We’re glad to have you.
