Shelton Gibson to leave WVU early for the NFL Draft
WVU star receiver Shelton Gibson has declared himself for the 2017 NFL Draft.
Shelton, a junior, is coming off his best season. Gibson possesses elite speed, being labeled by Dana Holgersen as the fastest player he’s coached (yes, that includes Tavon Austin).
With this being a weak receiver class, Gibson’s stock is at its highest, and he could find his name called early.
Throughout the pre-draft process, Shelton will have to show he’s worked on running crisper routes as at 5’11”, he is not the biggest of receivers.
In his college career, Gibson had 81 catches for 1,874 yards and 17 touchdowns.
